Somewhere Salty is a small, family-run charter company in St. Croix. Every trip is private, with room for up to six guests, and we plan the day around what your group loves: wrecks and reefs, offshore fishing, a quiet snorkel or a sunset cruise along the coast.

Hunter's Horizon

A 26-foot Glacier Bay power catamaran with twin Mercury 200 FourStroke engines, so the ride is smooth and stable. She travels by trailer, so we launch wherever the conditions are best that day.

What's included

  • Private for your group

    No strangers on board. Up to six guests on every trip.

  • Gear, water and snacks

    Fishing tackle and snorkel gear are included. Scuba gear is not included.

  • Guided dives

    Every dive is led in the water by a certified Divemaster.

  • Your catch, on ice

    Keep as much or as little as you like. We clean and bag it for you.

Good to know

How many people can come?

Up to six guests on most trips. Scuba prices include four divers, and you can add up to two more for $100 each.

Where do we leave from?

Because the boat travels by trailer, we launch from the west side or the north shore depending on the weather. We'll confirm your pickup point and start time when you book.

How do deposits and cancellations work?

No dates are reserved without a deposit, and the balance is paid after your charter. Deposits are non-refundable unless we cancel for weather. With advance notice we're happy to help you reschedule. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are charged the full trip rate.

What should I bring?

Reef-safe sunscreen (no spray), a hat and sunglasses, and your certification card if you're diving. Water and snacks are on us, and you're welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Alcohol is BYOB, no glass.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes. Every guest, or a guardian, signs a waiver before departure. We'll send the link after you book.

Can we bring bananas?

No bananas. Yes, really.
