Same boat, same waters, new crew: Somewhere Salty is the new home of Blue Canyon Charters. If you've fished or dived with Blue Canyon before, welcome back.

Somewhere Salty is a family-run business on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, owned by Amy and John Bedford. When we first visited St. Croix, we felt an instant connection to the island, the water and the people. In 2026 we moved here from Texas to share that feeling with our guests.

We run private charters aboard Hunter's Horizon, our 26-foot Glacier Bay power catamaran: fishing, scuba, snorkeling, spearfishing, island hopping and sunset cruises. Groups are kept to six guests or fewer, every trip is planned around your group, and water and snacks are always on board. Amy and John are both certified Divemasters.
