Refund policy

Deposits. A deposit is required to reserve your charter date. The remaining balance is due after your trip.

If you cancel. Deposits are non-refundable. If you give us advance notice, we’re happy to help you move your trip to another date. Cancellations within 24 hours of departure, and no-shows, are charged the full trip rate.

If we cancel. Your captain makes the final call on weather and safety. If Somewhere Salty cancels because of weather, sea conditions, mechanical issues or other circumstances beyond your control, you can choose to reschedule or receive a full refund of your deposit.

Trips ended early for weather or safety. If weather, sea conditions or another safety concern forces us to end your trip early, you’ll receive a partial refund. Because fuel, ice, bait, water and other supplies are already used by then, the refund accounts for those costs.

Trips ended because of guest conduct. The captain may end a trip early because of guest conduct, including alcohol-related issues. These trips are not eligible for a refund.
