The Basics
Why pick one when you can do both? We start early like a regular fishing trip to catch the morning bite, then mix in snorkeling, freediving or spearfishing. If the fish are biting, we keep fishing. If your group wants to get in the water, we switch. It's quick and easy to change plans on the fly.
Depending on sea conditions, we launch from the west side or the north shore of the island. We'll confirm your departure point and start time when you book.
Gear
Fishing, snorkel, freedive and spearfishing gear is provided on request at no extra charge.
What to Bring
- Every guest (or guardian) must sign a waiver before departure. We'll send the link after you book.
- Water and snacks are provided. You're welcome to bring your own food and drinks, and we'll send you home with fresh catch on ice.
- Reef-safe sunscreen only. No spray sunscreen. It stains the boat.
- Your own gear, cameras or drones are welcome. We have room to store them.
- No bananas. Yes, really.
Alcohol
BYOB, no glass. Please drink responsibly. Guests who have been drinking will be asked to stay out of the water.
Deposits and Cancellations
No dates are reserved without a deposit. The remaining balance is paid after your charter.
Deposits are non-refundable unless Somewhere Salty cancels for weather or other unforeseen circumstances. With advance notice, we're happy to help you reschedule. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are charged the full trip rate.
